In the past few weeks more than 20 witnesses from Kazakhstan have been heard at the Regional Court (Landesgericht) in Vienna in the Aliyev case. Things are moving forward.
However, there was one person who specifically caught attention: Vadim Koshlyak. He was not directly summoned as a witness, neither did he really comment on the events, but he was taking his time to closely observe and listen to the witnesses and ask them questions every now and then.
As Aliyev’s intimate Koshlyak allegedly took part in the planning, kidnapping, torture and murder of Zholdas Timraliev and Aybar Khasenov. He is one of the main defendants in the Aliyev case for suspected twofold murder.
Furthermore, he is accused of being jointly responsible for the death of Anastasiya Novikova. Nevertheless, he is leading a quite comfortable bourgeois life in the beautiful city of Vienna.
But mind you, what if Koshlyak is still in touch with Aliyev? What if the testimonies are of use to their agreements or accords? It is also suspected that Koshlyak is still in touch with the other suspects, Alnur Mussayew, Tulgen Imaschew and Wiktor Sapozhnikow.
Koshlyak walks in and out of the courthouse as he pleases and without restraints while he is calmly preparing his plea. For the bereaved this is very bitter and simply unbearable!
